THE SCHOOL'S TELESCOPE:

This photo (part of my private collection) was taken on Thursday 31st March 1960 by Mr. JS Labuschagne, one of the teachers.  The sliding roof is open and Mr. Labuschagne stood on top of the walls to get this view.  This particular print was one of about nine shots he took that day and was one of three photos displayed at the JJ du Preez Stand at the Schools' Exhibition held 20th to 22nd April 1960 at the Parow Civic Centre.  People in the photo left to right:  your's truly and behind the telescope eyepiece, Mr. PI Rossouw, then-Senior Science Master.
